YouTube should be used for Private Events

Bottom Line Low-risk private → Small-to-medium tight family/friend gatherings (typically under 30–40) at home.
Gray area → 50+ people, especially big family events with extended guests.
High-risk → clearly public → Any venue, ticketed, advertised, or regular events.The law is written this way on purpose — it’s flexible but leaves room for interpretation (and disputes).
This is due to YouTube's TOS. You can always toggle it off in the settings (see image below) if you feel you're in a Gray or High Risk area.
